dance camp is over! so fun to be CGL :) muahaha.

yesterday had make-up workshop.. a pretty lady, i mean really PRETTY lady came to teach us how to put on stage make-up.

okay it wasn't as easy as it seems.. and practically we screwed it up. my eyebrows looked like la bi xiao xin can.. haha. but we had loads of fun la.. just that in the middle of the whole thing u'll hear people say " okay i give up! " haha..

hip-hop workshop was cool too.. learnt this hip-hop dance haha.. damn interesting la but so tiring. and i couldn't really coordinate my hands and legs ( as usual ) -_-" but still... it's so cool!

this morning went for competition briefing. okay i'll talk about this later :) then dance camp today was like so pathetic lahs. so fewww people turned up.. i'm so sad :( but nvm la we still continued with the treasure hunt. had a great time getting back at the seniors for torturing me during the exco interview..

whee! so fun. dance camp overall was successful because the games and everything we planned went on smoothly.. other than unforseen circumstances like people falling sick and blah blah blah reasons for being absent.

but then, eventually i didn't get into the exco lahs. kana deprived of being a leader/organiser again. but then for such cases most of the time the leaders are always the leaders and the followers are always the followers. seldom have times when the followers can be given an opportunity to stand out. okies no resentment :) coz it also means that i have time to try to get into billiard club and pool with chiki~ ^_^

anyway nothing much to say about the new exco lahs. as usual... there were expected and unexpected people. after this whole thing i realised one point.. the thing about interpersonal relationships is that it's either you like that person or you don't and either you can click with that person or you can't. simply speaking.. i can't work with everybody. in fact most of us can't. affirmative?

anyway.. during ice breaker games.. jane and dixie kana forfeit.. haha! look what they were doing :)

wow let me talk about this morning. i'm soooo happy lahs!! hahaha ^_^ went for the song writing and MV awards 2005 briefing at AIA tampines.. wah lau the building's security is so shitty tight. must go sign in.. get a sticker.. check my bag at security counter.. then tell the guard which floor u're going to and he'll give the lift instructions. coz THE LIFT HAS NO BUTTONS. -_-" haha cool right. like so high tech :) then i was totally freaked out by the atmosphere okay.. it was damn scary can. all the contestants were sitting in this conference room like having some major serious meeting like that. u know.. like what u see on TV.. one big round table where the board of directors have their discussion on who to sack.. haha.

we have the students category and the open category.. so basically the whole room was filled with all kinds of people.. age ranging from around 14 or 15 to 30? ( saw one small boy boy who WROTE A FANTASTIC SONG and a lao kok kok balding man probably in his mid 30s ) first thing we had to do was to self-intro urself to everybody and tell them why u wrote the song. heng ar i wasn't the one who wrote it so daryl did all the talking.. haha! :) then they played our song. was supposed to play the version with daryl's singings but maybe the people think his singing is too... horrendous. haha then they decided to play the music without the singings =P okay that's what i'm here for.. try my best to bring out the song with.. better singing? hahaha.

abit boring la... to hear the rest of the top 10 finalists and to hear another top 10 finalists for open category -_-" but i would say the pieces were really good lah. competition is stiff. saw contestants from MJ... IJ... and PJ. haha okay i still thought i would be one of the youngest there.. looks like i'm not. phew :)

daryl was telling them his singing is awful. but they said " it's okay we'll make you all famous. " whee!! haha. guess what we'll be doing for the next 2 months? professional trainings... FREE MAKE OVER ( hair styling... make-up.. dress up! ).. vocal recordings and MV productions!! wow i'm so excited k!! hahaha basically we'll be shooting a MV with our song la.. then if nice they'll select it to play on channel 5 and channel 8 for NDP.. whoo-hoo!! who knows u might see me on tv!! and if we win.. see me singing in tampines on national day!! ( celebrations will be in padang.. 3 other places will have celebrations at the same time.. all linked by live telecast.. tampines is one of the 3 places ^_^ ) muahaha :) first time doing such things on national level.. and it's my dream to sing in a studio and make my own MV too!! okok hope i'll become a famous singer or something then no need to study liao. haha! =P

next week is the vocal recording in the studio.. hope my cough will go away and my voice will come back by then lahs. ( isabel, my voice from my sick throat is NOT sexy!! ) haha. then we'll be working with the famous li3 yi4... u know that guy who played the organ in gao3 xiao4 xing2 dong4 :) and alot more professionals who are the producers of many TV dramas..

haha very scared i won't be up to it and screw up the whole song with an off-tune leh. somemore the others are quite good also.. hmms. nvm i'll try my best to earn that $5000.. haha! haven't think of a group name leh. me and daryl... one guy one girl... JS ah? haha but i'm older lehz.. so.. SJ? eeew sounds damn not original. haiz okay nvm i shall concentrate on practising my song first :)

i bet my PW group is the most interesting one. on monday we'll be going sungei buloh.. then take boat to pulau ubin.. then at night go sentosa to collect materials :) haha! jealous not?
